Day 116: Extreme close-up!

Someone seems to have been getting all art-y with the camera here. I appear to be having some deep thoughts, though I can't remember exactly what they were. I think maybe it could have been this, because it's really bugging me: I'd love to know how you giant people - actually, even most of the much smaller but still large people who seem to follow you giants around - move around so easily. You're so mobile! It's very frustrating. I feel like I've mastered the turtle pose - and am highly competent at wiggling in most positions, but the most impressive thing I can muster is grabbing my right foot with my right hand and I think we can all agree this is not a terribly useful skill out there in the world. I mean, it's not going to get me a college scholarship, is it?

Day 115: Catchin' some rays

After the big dog show we stopped at the beach at this very tiny ocean in the woods. There were lots of big kids making too much noise but I still enjoyed a little bit of sun time in my short-sleeved, French cut, one-piece

Days 114 & 115: More dogs

Sorry to miss a few days. This weekend we went to Pennsylvania again. And saw a lot of dogs, some of them very weird looking. One was even blue and purple. This one is Bell and he's 4 months old. Like me! He was cute and didn't lick my face, so that was nice. On the way home we got stuck in this terrible traffic jam and I really do not like to sit still in cars. I love them when they're moving but once they stop -- boooorrrrring. So I let the other cars know how I felt about that. It didn't seem to work.

Day 113: Raincoats!

This here's my first raincoat. I'm very happy because I'm not actually wearing it in the rain. That part isn't nearly so fun. Luckily today is beautiful out so I don't need it. I might just go commando.

Day 112: The day the blog went black

Sorry for missing yesterday's post. My dad took away the internets on account of my "bad behavior." He seems to think that sleeping is important. We respectfully disagree on this subject, of course, but he pays the bills. Today, however, I'm back!

Day 111: T-shirt wisdom

Many people out there probably think this is yet another fitting t-shirt, pardon the pun. My Aunt Claire bought this one for me based on some old nickname, but I imagine my Grandma Miles will really like it, and surely agrees. Other family members might not find me so angelic at the moment. Like my parents. I have a long-standing policy against naps. They're lame. But lately I've also decided to forswear sleep altogether. Occasionally I can't help it, and they trick me into taking a long nap at the beginning of the night, but then I have my revenge after midnight. I saw on NY1 yesterday that Martha Stewart only sleeps 4 hours a night. And she takes no naps. So she's my new hero. Gotta have a goal, people!

Day 110: I think I prefer the 2008 vintage

This is a few days old but it's raining for the second straight day here in Brooklyn and it's just nasty and gray out. So let's look back at the weekend instead. This is me at this really pretty winery out on Long Island. I think I've just sampled the 2009 release of the rosé champagne and it was kinda meh. Kidding! I don't drink champagne. Yet. I'm just getting a handle on this seating position here on the shoulders. I like that it comes with all this hair to hold on to for balance. And it's not like I can mess it up any worse than it already is.

Day 109: Here, Panda.

This is Panda, a silly dog I met at a place where they make wine, which is like grape juice for big people. She carries around sticks - sometimes big ones, sometimes little twiggy things, and puts them down so that you'll throw them. Well, not me. I can't actually pick up a stick, at least not on purpose, let alone throw it. But it didn't matter since whenever someone threw the stick Panda would keep staring at that person as if he or she never threw the stick. Even though it was obvious to anyone paying attention that the stick was long gone. Panda might be a little special. But she was cute anyway.

Day 108: Nacho!

My dad came out here to meet a famous polo player from some far away country. His name is Nacho and here he is. I wonder if he's proud to have such a tasty Mexican appetizer named after him. I hope to some day inspire one so delicious.

I don't remember much from this part of the day but mom looks very happy for some reason.

Day 108: Polo anyone?

Yesterday we went to see polo, this game where rich guys wearing helmets ride really fast on horses while trying to hit a little ball between some giant sticks. It looks like fun, but it's hard to pay attention with all the funny looking giants walking around. All the ladies walk around with weird smiles as if they can't change expression. Mom says they can't, actually. And the giant boys are just silly. I do like a good occasion to dress up in my country finest, though, and since this little number is made by Polo it seemed especially appropriate. I got a lot of attention, especially from this one lady in silly clothes who kept wanting to carry me around. Her name was Bebe and I guess her daughter is a famous actress. To me she just looked like a fortune teller.

Day 107: Good morning!

Time for some coffee in the yard. But hold the coffee - I'll just take the milk. Next up: beach. Then: polo. I have just the outfit in mind.

Day 107: Welcome to Long Island

Land of indignities.

Day 106: Going to the beach!

This is me just after I found out we were going to the beach for the weekend. I'm wiggling like a little ninja -- too fast for film! We're on our way to Long Island, which generally isn't a sentence that gets me excited, except that apparently the very far part of Long Island is pretty and has nice beaches and farms and even some wineries (for my mom). Dad got some weird last minute work and we'll also get to watch people ride around on horses. Yippee!

Day 105: Baby seeks agent

Here's my latest modeling/acting shot. I think it shows my range. That I can play someone French, or old, or a bus driver, or boy who sells newspapers from a street corner in a black and white movie. So if you're an agent, call me. I'm ready to be a star.

Day 104: Visits from uncles

This is my Uncle Eric. He is my dad's brother, whatever that means. He came to visit while my dad was gone, though, which was okay we me. Like I always say, the people to carry me around, the better. I hope to never have to crawl, walk, or otherwise move myself about. I will just snap my fingers - or until I can work my hands - cry, or squeak or coo - and someone will come pick me up and relocate me to a more desirable location. It's great!

Days 102 & 103: The second century

It's a little hard to motivate to post every day now that I'm an old baby - well into my second century. And especially when my dad is out of town traveling, because he's a good motivator for blogging. He's home tomorrow, though, so I'll have to pick it up. Hurry back!

Day 101: At the Beach

Yesterday we went back to the beach. It's a nice place this beach, even though it's in Brooklyn, or Queens, or wherever it is. My only complaint is that there's too much sand that gets into my shorts. And sometimes my mouth. And my ear. And I wish the water was a little warmer, and not so rough. Other than that, it's perfect. No, hold that thought - it's also a little bright. This time I brought a tent, though, so the sun wasn't so bad. My first summer is going by pretty fast. I wonder what season comes next.

Day 100: Still here!

I told you I wasn't going anywhere. Just napping is all. With my friend this green giraffe that rattles. I don't want the squeaky blue dog toy to think I've forsaken him. He's still my favorite. But this giraffe is growing on me.

Day 99: Well, that went fast

Here we are, on the precipice of Day 100 - I didn't know there could be so many days and yet they went so fast. Many people have asked if I will continue with these pictures and updates past Day 100 and after much deliberation I have decided that, yes, I cannot disappoint my legions of fans. I will do my best to keep updating daily, or as close to daily as I can be. This week has been rough adjusting to life after the big party in the country. But next week will be better. I hope.

Here's me in my beach outfit. I think maybe it's time to move up a size in the plastic pants. These are looking a little snug.

Enjoy the weekend, everybody.

Day 98: Okay, one more photo

By popular demand, one more shot of my wedding outfit. It is pretty dapper, I must say. I'm also running short on photos since we came back since it's not quite as picturesque to pose in front of rotting garbage and taxi cabs as opposed to free roaming goats and mountains. I'll try to get back to it tomorrow.

Day 97: Party All-stars

People were explaining to me that at a typical wedding, the lady in the white dress is the star. And that was true for my mom too. Look how pretty. But at this wedding she had to share the spotlight a little — with me!

Day 97: One more with bowtie

See what I'm talking about - this is what I'm missing. Such a beautiful place, and a great party. Also, lots of kisses.

I wish this photo showed off my shoes. They were pretty sweet.

Days 95, 96 & 97: I'm back!

I know, I know. I've been terrible about writing the past few days. I've felt a little blue being back in this hot, smelly, sweaty city after such a beautiful weekend out in the country. But I'm working through it. We will endure!

To make it up to all of my fans, I give you this adorable photo of myself in my wedding finest. I tied this tie myself!

Days 93 & 94: What a weekend!

Man am I pooped. And speaking of poop, I think I will. Okay, better now, as long as someone is going to come change these plastic shorts. Anyway, what a great weekend. I'm out in the country again breathing the clean air and it's beautiful and all of a sudden like every family member of friend showed up and I just got cuddled for 3 days by all kinds of people. Everyone kept telling me how cute I was, and carrying me around and giving me kisses and it was great. Also, my parents got married. I'd say more about that but I was serious when I said I was pooped. I'm gonna call it a night. But thanks to everyone who came to see me (and my parents) this weekend. I love you guys!

Days 91 & 92: Gone fishin'

I apologize if the posts are a little slow this weekend. I'm out in the country preparing for some big event. Not sure yet what that's all about but there are certainly lots of people around who want to hold me. I've never felt more popular! More news soon.

Day 90: Tummy time with flash!

I only post this one because it was taken with flash and I like what that does to my skin tone. Also I look very blonde!

See you all up in the mountains.
