Days 889-890: The Zoo!

You know what's awesome? The zoo! I can't get enough of that place. Here's me and a bear. He's swimming!

This week, I went with Alma and her kids, Alex and Priscilla. That's her in the clamshell. We fed some goats, and sheep, and even a cow. Also, the snow leopard was sleeping. Lazy kitty.

Day 888: Yvie!

My friend Yvie is growing up so fast. I remember when she started crawling. Now she's chasing me around Woodstock, up and down the stairs...
And helping me corner puppies!
And then taking in the car show (which also included puppies)!

Days 883-887: Hey, It's Fall!

Hey, it's officially Fall! How did that happen so fast?! I feel like just yesterday, it was last winter, and just before that, I was born! Anyway, nothing I can do about the swift passage of time, except make the most of it. One way to do that is to hang out with as many animals as possible. I love them all, even cows that don't respect my personal space.

Day 882: Off to the Zoo

Today, I went to the zoo with Momma. It was nice to have her at home on such a beautiful day. Here's me in an egg shell that is much bigger than the ones I usually see at breakfast.

Days 880-882: Sweatshirt!

Welcome to fall, everybody! I've been waiting for just the right weather to wear this cool sweatshirt Mum and Papa got me in San Francisco. Yay, golf!

Day 879: I Am Such a Big Help!

I think people forget sometimes how helpful it can be having a toddler around. It's like having your own tiny personal assistant who works for free -- or at least for hugs and cheese sticks. One of my most useful skills is helping Momma fold laundry. I store as many items as possible on my person in order to transport them to their rightful places. See!

Day 878: Yoga!

Momma has been doing lots of yoga lately. We used to go to class together, but I think that was more complicated because I was a little less genteel in those days. Now she goes by herself. But sometimes she does it at home, and when she does, I like to join her. How's my form?

Also, here's a bonus funny hat picture!

Days 874-877: Bunny!

Guess what I am? I am a bunny! And it's not even Halloween!

Hop!

Hop!

Days 867-873: Big Red Dogs!

Have you guys met Clifford? He's big, and red, and a dog. He has so many books. I wish he would let me ride on his back, because how cool would that be to ride around New York on a big, red, dog?

Day 866: Politics

This is how I feel about all the "politics" you're all yammering on about.

Day 865: More Pics!

I have so many from the vacation that it'll take weeks to get through them -- that is, once I can get my assistant to actually upload them to the computer. But here are two for today. Enjoy!
You know what's always guaranteed to make me happy? Chocolate ice cream! Thanks, Aunt Jenny and Uncle Conrad for taking me to the general store for my favorite treat.
I also love carousels! Here's one from the fair. I rode it twice, and lobbied for a third spin, but for once flailing on the ground and howling did not work on an uncommonly resolute Daddy. Clearly I will have to refine my technique for future encounters.

Day 864: Are You Watching, FC Barcelona?

I've recently started playing a little soccer. Great game. Check out my skills. I think I'm not bad for a newbie!

Day 864: Back Home Again in NYC

Well, summer couldn't last forever, could it? New York sure made that clear, as we came back from two weeks of fantastic sunny weather to a crummy, gray, rainy day in Brooklyn. It's way too horrible to take pictures, so here are a couple from the last few days. Don't I look like such a grown-up? Like, I should be driving soon, right? (Please say yes.)

 City mouse.
Country mouse.

Days 860-863: Every Vacation Must Come to an End

This is something I just learned. And I don't like it. But apparently it's part of "life," whatever that means. At least I got to end my vacation with a bang, at the fair! I have to download -- or upload? -- most of those pictures, but here's one of me fishing for tiny sharks with Yvie. Isn't she cute?
