Days 826-829: Big Boy!

Don't I look old in these pictures? That's what everyone keeps saying. Thanks Auntie Stephie for sending this first one over to me. And thanks Mum for taking the other one, and for taking me to the zoo and for such a nice visit.! I hope you're playing some good golf back home in Florida. Give Papa a hug for me.
(Editor's note: this picture is adorable. But he's wearing the wrong hat. Time to go shopping.)

Day 824: I Got a Scooter!

Hey, good news! Mom is visiting. Or Mum, I guess, to make things less confusing. This is going to get a little confusing once I start calling Momma Mom but for now, thanks for coming Mom! We had an awesome day at the park yesterday, and the zoo, and she also bought me some cool stuff. Like this SCOOTER!

These first few pictures were taken earlier today, when Momma was putting the helmet on me. Does something look weird? I didn't notice!

Then Daddy came home from his trip. He had a whole different helmet strategy. I'm not going to lie, it fit a little better this way.

WHEEE!!!

Day 821: Happy Birthday, Momma!

(This is a day late, but I couldn't get online yesterday. So let's pretend I did.)

Happy birthday to the best Momma in the world! I love you!

Days 816-821: Busy Busy

I won't make any more excuses except to say, hey -- it's summer! Had a great weekend at the house with Aunties Stephanie and Mary, and Momma, Daddy and Tate. We swam, ate doughnuts, and visited the frogs. I worry about those little guys because the pond is so low. And where did the stream go? It's now just a pile of rocks! Oh, wait, did I tell you about GOLF? If not, I meant to!

Day 815: In Which I Discuss My Trip to the Doctor

Sometimes I forget to post for days. Other times, I post in bursts. This is one of those days!

This video isn't new, but it's new to the Internets. It's one in which I discuss my recent trip to the doctor. I'm not going to lie to you. I do not love those trips.

Day 815: Driving!

I'm picking up hobbies right and left these days. One of my new favorites: driving! I'm practicing every chance I get, on every machine I can find, and I remain hopeful that my application for an exemption to get a license by age 10 will be granted by New York state. If not, I'm going rogue.

One bonus of driving, which probably goes without saying: ladies love a fast car.

Do you even need a license to drive a tractor? I'm thinking no.

Day 814: Bonus Pic!

This is actually a month or two old but I think I forgot to share it. Or if I already shared it, I'm sharing it again because I like it. Catch me if you can!

Days 810-814: Boats!

Photos from last week's vacation are trickling in from my numerous photographers. Here's a set from one of the awesome boat trips we took on Uncle Larry's boat. I liked to ride in the back with Daddy and Granddad. I'm the one in the middle, hanging with Lamby, in case you don't recognize me in the shades.

P.s. The ride alone was cool, especially when Uncle Larry went fast, but the best part was that the boat almost always ends up at an ice cream shop!

Days 807-809: Lakes!

If you were wondering where I was last week, the answer is at a LAKE! It was awesome -- so blue and warm and pretty. I jumped in a lot and also tried to catch fish with a noodle. I also learned beer bowling from Granddad, danced to some oldies, rode on a boat, and ate lots of blueberries. So many blueberries. (And ice cream!)  I'm still waiting for my guest photographer to send over some photos, and my regular documentarian really fell asleep on the job, but here are a few shots I was able to dig up...

Day 806: An Afternoon in NYC

It's rare that we get a weekend day in the city, let alone a weekend. And even when it's hot, you can only keep a two-year-old with ants in his pants cooped up in the AC for so long. So after watching some tennis, and taking a nap, I hit the town with the parents.

Actually, first I took a dip in the pool. Then I hit the town. First stop: Staten Island Ferry.

Is that a dolphin? Or trash? Or maybe a corpse? Hard to tell.

Next stop: the cool (literally!) new playground at the Seaport. It has sand! And water! Also foam blocks!

Day 806: Gettin' Down

When you can't beat the heat, you just roll with it. And that's exactly what I'm doing here, at the South Street Seaport Beach Bar. I just can't resist the beats...

Days 797-806: VACATION!

You know what the best part of summer is? VACATION! And that explains where I've been. I have plenty of photos to share, and I will, but right now I'm going out to the yard to splash in the baby pool, b/c it's too damn hot to do anything else. So here's a teaser in the meantime...

I call it: chocolate goatee!
