My Semi-Annual Update

I'm sorry to be so delinquent with updates. I ran out of excuses months ago. There's just so much to do all the time! But here are some pictures for the two of your who have some patience, and still tune in.

Did you hear I like sledding? Oh, you did? Maybe I'm getting repetitive. It's so fun. Now I go headfirst. Yay!

Am I waving? Kind of. Actually, I think I'm lecturing, or delivering a monologue. Something from Shakespeare. Or is it Cartesian theory? I can't recall, exactly. I could just be saying, "I'm up next for sledding!"

Fishing With Papa

Someone's going a little crazy uploading videos from her phone. I don't want to name names, but I call her Mama. Anyway, here I am fishing with Papa over Christmas. This was before I got my awesome small boy sized fishing pole from Auntie Mary, and was using a real grown man's pole.  I caught so many shrimp it was crazy.

If The ZooFalls...

I went to the zoo with Mama week or so ago. There are lots of things to see there, but because I go so much and know where everything is, I just tend to zoom through each exhibit. "Hi monkeys! Now I see the the fish! Now I see the owls! Now I feed the sheep! Let's go to the iguana!" I can do the ENTIRE zoo in 27 minutes or less. This is not fun for mama, who wants to actually see the monkey babies and asks me to slow down. But she really seemed to have a good time when I was rushing from the meerkats to the lizards and had a little misstep.

My Favorite Show

Sadly, I know a lot of the theme songs to cartoons, but that's because I love to sing so much! Not because I watch so much TV. But when I was sick I definitely watched a lot of telly. This is the song to my new favorite show,  Doc McStuffins.

Finally Feeling Better!

I spoke too soon. That bug was nasty. And despite what I said the other day I really wasn't feeling myself until late Sunday night and even into yesterday, at which time I pretty much resumed my normal adorable, mischievous and occasionally impertinent persona. That is not fully represented in these photos from Sunday morning, but they're maybe the only shots we have of snowmen for the 2012-13 winter season, so I didn't want them to go to waste. (Actually, they're already melting here a little.) I was actually too sick to work on these, but I put my best assistant -- Daddy -- to work on them. Notice the Snow Puppy in the lower frame? He's especially proud of that one.

Where Has Charlie Been?

I know, it's a regular question these days. But this time I have a good answer. I've been sick. Really sick. And it's no fun. I've had both a stomach bug and a cold and I'm really not enjoying it. I went to the doctor twice!

Things began to look up yesterday, and I hoped I'd be freewheeling old Chuckles up here at the big house this weekend but my tummy is still hurting and I'm really tired of all the snot. Here's hoping tomorrow is finally the end!

I did TRY to sled and play in the snow a little today. Because we got a LOT of snow yesterday. It kinda worked. For a few minutes.
