Look Who Came Over Today!

That's right, Baby Elodie, who is my cousin (I think) and also our new neighbor and will be hanging with me and Alma on some of the days when I'm not in school or with Momma. Welcome to the neighborhood, Elodie! Mind if I take a load off here on your mat?

Yay, Sledding!

As previously mentioned, one of the best things about winter is snow, because that means sledding. Check me out, shredding the local hill with Momma. Those are the looks of two people having fun!

Here's me flying solo. I only wish the hill was longer.
And, of course, every man for himself. You ride it down, you pull it up. Unless the hill is really steep, or the snow is too deep, in which case Daddy has to carry me and the sled. One advantage of short legs!

When Do I Get to Learn To Ski?

I keep asking myself this question, as I watch all those people flying down the mountain on skis and snowboards. In the meantime, I guess I'll make due with sleds.

Also, Grandmom complains that I don't post enough close-ups. So these are for her (and anyone else who enjoys this adorable face!).

Not sure why this is blurry. I guess they used the Barbara Walters filter. Anyway, it's me and a pretzel. I do enjoy the pretzels.

Sweet potato fries ain't half bad either.

Karaoke is in My Blood

For Christmas, I got this great microphone that  turns my voice in Mickey Mouse. Apparently that was quite an annoying sound and my mom turned that feature off, but it also lets you really project when you're belting out your favorite hits, like Twinkle Twinkle. Here I am practicing and getting really lost in the moment.

This is CRAZY

Sometimes when I hear a song, the words get stuck in my head. This one was on the radio all summer long, and every time I heard it, I'd sing along. Sometimes I'd even sing it out of the blue as I was dancing around the living room in my diaper!

Turtle Hands!

Before school this morning, my mom tried to get me to wear my usual Elmo mittens, but why would I do that when I just found these insanely cool turtle gloves leftover from my Halloween costume? After a small battle (that she knew in advance she was going to lose), she let me just keep them on. She does the same thing with my pants when we're at home, but in that case, she just let's me keep them off. Oh yeah, my new favorite alter-ego is NAKED BOY! Because running around nude is so much fun!

PEACE OUT, I'm going to SCHOOL

I know I posted a photo of my "trial" day at my new school, but this is from Wednesday morning, my first REAL day. Yes, I passed the test and apparently they think I'm a good fit! School is awesome. I love it so much that I don't even say goodbye to my mom when she drops me off. I just run in and start playing with Leo and the play kitchen. My teacher is Miss Meg, and her assistant is Amanda. After my first day, I confused my mom by telling her that "A man helped me go peepee," and "A man played with dolls with me." She looked upset and asked another parent who this strange "man" in the classroom was. DUH mom, I was saying AMANDA!!

Happy (Belated) New Year!

Hi there, friends! I am a few days late wishing everyone a Happy New Year, but better late than never. 2013 will be the fourth year I've experienced, even though I only turn 3 in May. I'm not sure how that's possible, but it is. I am not yet a gifted mathematician. I said goodbye to 2012 up at the big house with the family, and with my pal Alina, her parents, her brother Edgar, and my pal Bro. It's was awesome having Alina around. In addition to being adorable, and sounding like a cartoon mouse, she's fun!
Here I am giving her a little help down the hill on her sled.
And here's us enjoying a little aprés sled time, with snacks.
As you've probably noticed, it was pretty snowy. Everything looks so nice covered in white, and if you wear enough clothes, it's not bad out.
But it's even nicer when the sun comes out. I think I'm almost ready for skis!
