Zoo!
Yesterday, we went to the Bronx Zoo. This is my third zoo, after Brooklyn and Central Park and this one is AWESOME. It's so huge! Daddy didn't take many pictures but we have a few highlights.
There's even a carousel there where you ride on little bugs. I chose a beetle.
I let my brother wear my hat while he was eating.
This is a peacock I was hanging out with. I called him Man, as in "Hey man, come have some goldfish!" Then he ate all of them. I think probably at least 50. So greedy!

Skating!
Mama wanted me to learn how to roller skate, or at least give it a shot, and I said, OK! I'm always up for an adventure. Results were mixed.
As a beginning strategy, I mostly held on to the rail.
Then Mama held me up a lot. I bet she's really going to like this picture!
And I fell, a LOT. But things got better. Stay tuned for video.
Afterwards, I played in this cool sprinkler park right next door.
And before bed I cuddled my baby bro.

No Excuses, Only Pics!
We're busy, we're tired. But you don't want excuses. You want pictures. We have some of those!
My little bro and Calvin, the kid with the awesome hair across the road from the Big House. He's only one month older than Nicky. How did he get all that hair?
This kid's got smiles to burn. SO MANY SMILES.
Gettin' my art on with cousin Elodie.
Nicky's first putt-putt experience. I had to be the ball boy because Mama couldn't bend over.
Just slurping' some ramen, yo!
Catching some rays at Elka. Man that pool was cold!

A Great Weekend
We had such a fun time upstate with Grandmom and Grandad. What did we do? What DIDN'T we do! First of all, we played a LOT of soccer in the backyard. I kicked the goals and Grandad was the goal keeper. He didn't manage to block a single one of my 30-something goals. He's not a very good goalkeeper. We also went to a little zoo where I rode a pony called Dusty, went to the Arboretum and walked around, went on a hike, ate tons of good food, and most importantly, saw a real live BEAR. In our backyard. By the fire pit. While me and Daddy were playing water balloons on the deck. Mama is freaked out now for some reason.
Me and Dusty.
With Grandmom and Grandad at the arboretum.
That's him, our new friend the bear! (That is also Daddy's patio project, made from rocks that him and Mama found in the woods!)
This is the hike at the end of our road that we do a lot. I always make Daddy take my picture on this rock. This would be a wonderful picture of myself if somebody in the background wasn't ruining it with her peace signs.
Me and My Bro
We had a great day at the "urban water park," last week, as my Mama calls it. (Ed note: It is a concrete playground with lots of amazing sprinklers.) This is us getting ready to go out. Mama thought it was funny to put me in a muscle tee, but the joke was on me because the sprinklers rinsed off my sunscreen and my shoulders got really burned! Bad Mama! Bro is looking cute here in the fancy Burberry sunhat that Mom got for him. And Lamby is photobombing us.
Also, here's a bonus pic of the two of us on the bed upstate, just because.
Wait! A few more bonus pics of just baby Nicholas because he doesn't get his own blog, and will be wearing my hand-me-downs for the next 18 years. Also, because he is adorable and we all love him so much!!
Smilin' Nicky
My sweet baby bro Nicholas is now almost 8 weeks old! He started smiling right around 6 weeks, and at first it was hard to get them out of him, but now he's a regular little giggle monster! It's so cute. Here's a sample of some of his recent gems that we actually managed to get on camera.
