Day 90: Tummy time!
For weeks now, my mom and dad have been insisting on putting me on my belly on this mat. They call it Tummy Time and it's annoying. It's very uncomfortable and I don't like it - not one bit. Today, though, I decided to give it a bit more of a chance. And you know what? Not so bad!
Day 89: Aussie Aussie Aussie!
Today a whole bunch of people from Australia, which I guess is a place very far away, even farther than Pennsylvania! They were very nice and had these cute accents. They came for some big party that's happening on Saturday. I'm not sure what that's about but I'm happy to have more people who want to cuddle me. This is Lucy. I think she's a cousin, and that is a very tiny slice of her mom Susie, who is my grandma Anne's sister. This is all getting very confusing.

Day 88: Morning rituals
One of the first things I like to do in the morning, after I wiggle around on the bed, and then wiggle around on a mat smiling at a bunch of fuzzy animals, is check my email. That's what I'm doing here. I can't type, or dictate, so I just think of things really hard and my dad types them. Here I'm trying to get him to write one to a bear I saw on the highway last month. I miss that bear and I feel bad that we almost ran him over. So I thought an email would be a nice gesture.

Day 87: I love Target!
If you were reading this blog earlier in the week you might have seen a shot that looks very much like this one, also taken while crusing around in my stroller at Target. I don't know what it is about discount shopping that I like so much. I think maybe it's the Michael Graves salt shakers.
Day 86: Just another day at the beach
One of the things you don't hear much about this place "New York City" -- or as I call it, the Entire World As I Know It -- is that there's a beach! You take a few rights and some lefts, past a few meat pie shops and some places where the houses look like they're falling over and then there's the ocean. If you don't mind planes flying over and ruining your tanning rays every once in awhile, it's almost like being at the actual beach, like in New Jersey. Unfortunately because I'm only 3 months and have such sensitive skin, I have to spend the whole time in the shade under the umbrella, and even then it seems bright so I have to wear these shades and a shirt. Also a hat, though it's hard to keep that one when you're lying down. I still haven't been in the water. I'm kind of afraid of that because I hear it's cold and also a crab bit my dad on the foot.
P.s. - I'd like to register a complaint with the beach umbrella manufacturers association. I spent my whole afternoon under your umbrella, in the shade, and still I got some red cheeks. I think all of us Americans would like to believe that a beach umbrella purchased from a guy on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn should be of the utmost quality but I'm sorry to say this is not the case. Shame on you, umbrella makers, and salesman of Flatbush Avenue.

Day 85: Baby in blue robe
One of the worst parts of bath-time is when bath-time is over, because that's when whoever's overseeing the bath takes me out of the warm water and into the cold air. That part sucks. Like, really sucks. If you have stood anywhere near the bathroom when this transition takes place, you're probably well aware of how I feel on this matter. Luckily, I have some nice terrycloth robes to put on - and they have hoods, just like the ones boxers wear. This one's blue, obviously. I don't know why I felt it necessary to point that out.
Day 85: Still life with monkeys (and bears)
This is one of my favorite places to nap, right here on this shoulder, in front of all those monkeys and bears. Sometimes when I'm sleeping I guess I do look a little like Ziggy. Also, I clearly need to work on my tan.
