My Birthday!
Hey, who let that little bro take over my blog? What's that, we have to share? Oh, man! Do we have to? Okay, fine. But now it's my turn. Monday was my birthday. I'M FOUR! I got lots of presents, starting Saturday and running through Wednesday, so that was cool. We also went to this cool restaurant that has my favorite game, PUTT PUTT!
Happy Birthday to me...

So Many Visitors
Phew! It gets tiring meeting new people, because everyone wants to hold and cuddle you. Which I can understand, because I am adorable. Here are just a few of the people who have come to see me in the short time I have been around...
Aunt Jenny!
Grandmom and Granddad!
Auntie Claire!
Mom!
Auntie Steph!
And of course my best friend and awesome big brother Charlie!

My First Few Days
I know my Big Bro set quite a precedent with the daily blog that I'm afraid there's no way I can possibly keep up with. First kids are special that way. My team of assistants is taking plenty of photos, so don't worry about that. They might just be posted sporadically, and not daily.
My first few days were in the hospital, which was fine and all, but a little sterile and cold for my tastes. Still, I had lots of visitors, and lots of cuddles from Momma and Daddy...
This is the first-ever picture of me in the wild. Wow was that a shocking transition! I have some notes about how to improve upon that process if anyone's interested.
Once in the world, things improved. Mostly I eat and sleep, and people change my diapers. I don't love that process at all!

Nicholas!
Internet is terrible here at the hospital, so sending pics from the phone to the computer takes about a day and a half. We'll obviously post tons more (bigger) photos of our new adorable addition, but here are a few pics of Nicholas William Dean, born 4/29 at 10:11am. He was 7.15 lbs, came via C section and is super cute and sweet! We love him! Mom is doing fine, but very grateful for the pain drugs. We all go home tomorrow, yay!

Open Mic
Last week was music camp. It was five whole days of music! We made drums, and maracas, and flutes and learned music from Africa, Brazil and other places. Also jazz. Jazz is weird. The last day we had open mic. I'm kind of shy sometimes, but i wanted to try it anyway. So here I am singing the music camp song with Jeremy while also being kind of shy. It's not easy singing in front of a crowd!
